Butter London "Fiver" Nail Polish Mint Green NOTD

You may remember me testing a 4 piece set from Butter London last year some time. I wasn't pleased with my shade choices but I fell in love with the formula and everything else about them. Because I felt like they were a bit pricey for a bottle of nail polish, I wanted to wait and see if they would go on sale at all. While in Miami's Ulta on Lincoln Road, I came across a whole bunch of them that were on sale from $18.00 down to $12.00. I'm absolutely kicking myself now for not selecting a few more to bring home but to be fair I was in a bit of a rush. (note to self: don't ever go makeup shopping in a rush). This soft mint green with just the right amount of white in it, was different from anything else already own so I had to have it. As soon as I got back to our hotel, I painted it onto my toes and put on a pair of sandals. Soon after I painted my finger nails as well because I loved it that much.

This one is pretty consistent with what those others were like. It's gorgeous on the nails, looks perfect in a good two coats, has a brush precise enough to apply a decent amount evenly every time and wears beautifully with a good 4-5 days going by without any chips at all. My only complaint is the that the dry time is a bit lengthly so you've got to walk around opening things with your feet for a while and getting family members to do important tasks like closing seat belts for kid (but seriously!) I tend to just use my Demert fast dry spray which does help a bit. Either way, I'll be keeping this one front and center on my nail polish shelf and overusing it all Spring and Summer, that's for certain. And if I find these on sale again, nothing will hold me back from selecting a few new shades to purchase this time.

Do you have any of these Butter London nail polishes in your collection? If you do, are there any shades you'd like to recommend? If not, are there any you're eyeing? Let me know in the comments form below,  I love hearing from you!

If you are interested in purchasing this specific shade or any others from the line, they can be found at the Butter London website as well as at Ulta
