Mozart Cafe of Sunny Isles Florida, Kosher Restaurant Review

If I had just one nights stay in Florida, Mozart Cafe would be the place I would order my dinner. I know that's a big statement. Yes I'm a bit biased being a diary lover and all but even my husband who normally prefers meat for dinner found their food to be right on point in every way! I fell in love with the place just as soon as I walked up onto it's patio full of happy diners!

Everyone working inside was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Their dishes were reasonably priced and took less then 10 minutes to arrive and I was glad to see different options on the menu other then the all too typical fettuccine alfredo available at every dairy restaurant. The actual restaurant is really nice inside as well from the tables to the wall decor and wine display behind the registers.

Everything shown here is in takeout containers. We visited the restaurant but decided to take our food home since we were with our kids, hence the lack of restaurant plating shown.

Here's what we ordered.

The tropical roll- This was one of the best sushi rolls I've had in a while. It had tuna, cream cheese and mango rolled inside and was topped with kiwi, sweet sauce and an awesome pink sauce I'd never come across before!

Cheese Stromboli with Pomodoro Sauce- This isn't your typical calzone. It's a rolled pizza dough served with a delicious thick sweet tomato based sauce. mmmm.

Fish and Chips- This was for the kids and they devoured it.

Pasta Balkan- My sister who was there babysitting for us had this dish and she said it seemed a bit on the oily side but it was pretty good. It was a pasta with pesto sauce, haloumi cheese, black olive, cherry tomatoes and garlic confit and I didn't taste it but judging by what she ate it must have been good.

Pasta Shrimp Scampi- This pasta may not look like much but it was it was incredible with a good amount of imitation shrimp and a zesty lemon sauce that was perfectly balanced to suit this dish.

Mozart Cafe of Sunny Isles is located at 18110 Collins Ave Sunny Isles, FL 33160. Their phone number is 305- 974-0103.
