My Fall & Winter Fashion/Style Purchases+ Video

I almost always bring in a new season with a little bit of fashion related shopping to fill any gaps that may exist in my wardrobe. This time it seemed to be mostly within that keeping warm theme with the new coat, scarf, sweater headband and handful of bootie shoes. Watch my video to see each piece in more detail. I have linked to each item or something very similar to it if it was not available anymore, in the description box of that video, so check that out if there is something you like!

Loreal Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner in Black, Review

Loreal Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner in Black, 0.034 oz. $8.13

I use all kinds of liners from day to day depending what kind of eye look I am going for. It varies from gel to pencil, liquid, colored, neutral and sometimes just black powdered shadow for a soft look. A liquid pen liner is actually my ideal choice for the upper lid and so I always make sure to have one on hand. I talked about the Lorac Front of the Line Pro ages ago as well as my other favorite Mac Liquid Pen Liner, both still very much loved.

There's a new lining magician I've been utilizing a whole lot as of late and that is this Loreal Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner. It's very black, not too shiny in finish and very easy to create a quick wing with, as not too much or too little product is released with every stroke. I've had it for a long while now and it hasn't even begun to dry out yet which is fabulous considering it is felt tip. I've done thick, intense cat eyes using it and thin every day kitten flicks as well (as you can see on my eyes in the images below).

The shape of the tip makes it really easy to use, and that's coming from someone who's always had trouble with those precise wings. Waterproof it is not, so don't go jumping in a pool with it on. It does last through mild heat and humidity and light sweat though. It not only stays put on my eyes all day but it also stays dark and black without rubbing off, fading or crumbling at all.  The fact that this can be purchased at the drugstore and costs under $10 certainly sweetens the deal! I doubt I will ever find a liquid pen liner I like more.

These are two looks I've used this liquid liner for. In the first one I had a real thick graphic liner on, and in the second I was going for a a soft, thin kitten flick. As you can see, this liner certainly can achieve all sorts of looks you may be hoping to achieve.

Have you given this liner a try? If you have, what did you think of it? If you haven't do you want to?

December Wishes

Considering how long it's been since my last wish list, this one is jam packed with goodies! I've thrown in a bit of the usual- style, beauty, decor and even some techie bits. I got everything I wanted and more for Chanuka but being holiday season and all if you've yet to get your special somebody something, you may just find some ideas here. Sensing a gold theme? You thought right, I'm loving that color at the moment!

1. Uggs- Pink Uggs? Your eyes are not deceiving you! I've yet to find a warmer boot so I may just have to splurge on these for this cold season fast approaching. I feel I have everything I need where shoes are concerned at the moment, but these need to get in my closet regardless!

2. Oliver Gal Forever & Ever Framed Canvas Print- My office is looking quite bare and lacking in decor, this is a piece I can imagine going well with all of the white items I have so far. Certainly has me inspired!

3. Geo Stacking Ring Set- In general jewelry is another thing that like my shoes collection I am content with the current size. I do feel I can use some more rings though.

4. Canon Eos 70D Body and Canon 50mm Lens- It's time for a camera update. The main reason is because I need auto focus for the video setting which my current camera unfortunately does not have. This is what I am looking at.

5. Frends Taylor Headphones- Ear buds are always really uncomfortable for me so I am considering to go back to this over the head style which are ever so stylish in comparison to the ones I had in 5th grade.

6. Kalorik Fun S'mores Maker- This time of year is all about the s'mores! This would be a great item to have for a cold winter night in with friends. Board games anyone?

7. Quay Cat Eye Sunglasses- I have been eyeing Quay sunglasses (pun intended) for months and these are my favorite they carry!

8. Star Copper Cookie Cutter- Williams Sonoma sells these in all different shapes including snowflakes! They would be too pretty to bake cookies with though wouldn't they?

9. Zoey Ear Jacket Set- Unique earrings are very much my thing at the moment!

10. Morphe Brushes- I've been planning a huge order for some Morphe products but ever since Jaclyn Hill did her favorite brushes video, they have been selling out! Brushes and eye shadow palettes are what are on the list.

11. Formula X System to Go- Branching out from nail polish brands like my typical Essie and OPI are what I am attempting and these nail polishes may be a good try!

12. A starburst mirror is going to hang above my entry way table, this is a fabulous piece!

13. Diptique Bais Candle- Pricey candles don't get me over excited, but these get raved about constantly. I'd love to see if they are all they are said to be.

14. Chloe Roses De Chloe Perfume- A sample size of this came in my most recent Sephora order and I am just sold. It smells amazing and lasts on my skin all day.

15. Esquido Oh So Sweet Lashes- Lashes are always on my list, these are beautiful and whispy to preference.

16. Bella Berry Accent Chair- I am still in the search for a comfy office chair that gives the room a pop of color and accent while still being comfy to sit in and work. This is something I'm considering.

What's on your wish list at the moment?

Let me know in the comments, I would really love to get your recommendations!

A Turquoise & Copper + Full Face Makeup Look (Video)

Not too long ago I purchased a whole slew of Makeup Geek individual shadows from both the regular and "foiled" line. They are beautiful to say the least. Marlena certainly knows what she's doing with her makeup! I layed them all out in a Z palette and began playing with them. Soon after I realized how much I was favoring this one specific shade called "Houdini" It's a green - turquoise metallic that has some blue tones peeking through in different lighting. It pairs beautifully with my "Copper Ring" eye shadow, a favorite from Mac at the moment. I've done so many versions of this look lately and decided to put one up on my Youtube channel. It includes my full face makeup routine of the moment as well which is not something I add in often. I really love how this look came out, although I certainly prefer it paired with a berry lip, looking back on it. Watch the video here and let me know what you think of the look! Weekly videos are coming your way, so leave any requests you may have in the comments!
