Friday Fashion: Leather & Animal Print Warmer Winter Outfit of The Day

This winter has been so cold, so when there were a few warmer days recently,  I was excited to take a couple of layers off and wear less of a bundled up outfit. My coat, hat, scarf and gloves stayed in the closet, and I ran outside to enjoy it while it lasted. Here is the look I wore that day. I also uploaded the video to go along with this post earlier today and it includes two more outfits so go watch it here if you'd like or read till the end where it will be inserted as usual.

I've been loving faux leather ever since the trend blew up last winter and so I chose a top in that material which I got in Zara a while back, and added some Karms for sleeves. I won these animal print Karms in a giveaway I entered by Sharon over at Go see how she styled them, here. I think they are a truly innovative new way of keeping modest without overheating and I can't wait to see how else I can wear them in the next months.

Pencil skirts fit my shape best and this time I went for one in a purple shade that I got from Target, it really contrasts well with the brown and gold tones of this look, in my opinion.

From there I chose my jewelry and I have always been into gold tones and delicate charms. Both the earrings and necklace are geometric themed with those upside down triangles. To finish it off I zipped up my black wedge booties that are Christian Siriano for Payless.

On my nails, I laid down a coat of Opi's golden eye, a gorgeous metallic sparkly gold color that I cannot get enough of ever since purchasing it last winter. I kept my makeup pretty simple since the outfit had so much going on and slightly winged out my eyeliner, using a black powder shadow. I went for a matte peachy nude lip to balance it all.

My hair/wig is a different one that you'll be used to seeing here on the blog and look out for some changes hair/wig wise in the next weeks since a new ombre' number has been added to my collection and I can't get enough of it. I had fun and braided a plait which I then wrapped up behind my bangs as a fun headband of sort. I'd be glad to do a tutorial at some point too because it is simple and pretty looking!  Leave me a comment below this post, letting me know if that is something you'd be interested in!
