Some of My Most Recent Makeup Work

Sometimes life catches up with me and I don't get to sit down and write anything here. When my mind gets so full of whats going on around me I'd rather write good posts or nothing at all. It's not easy when the going gets tough but I know that everything in this life happens for a reason and I am not one to question it. Everyone needs a break sometimes. I have really missed blogging and I'm so  happy to be back to it. On a more positive note, I am really excited to finally be getting around to sharing some of my most recent makeup work again. I have so many pictures to go through still and many photographers to track down but here is what I've managed to gather in the meantime. You'll probably already know how much I love navy smokey eyes with a pink lip so the first one was one I really enjoyed getting to apply.

This second one was done on a bride for her engagement party. I kept the lids light and neutral and glammed it up with some winged liner and false lashes. The nude lip kept it balanced and romantic. I can't wait to work with her again on her wedding day this March, look out for those photos then.

This last one is a look I applied on my niece Dina for the wedding of another niece. It's hard to see in these photos but we went for a light smokey eye with gold at the inner corner to brighten up her small eyes and open them up a little. The lavender pink lip went beautifully with this look and I just need to add in how much I love how she her hair was done- it was a messy fishtail braid with a string of diamonds through it, how cool!

I can't wait to share more photos of my work as I sift through them.

Thanks for stopping in!
