The Things I'm Grateful For This Week: With Instagram

{Relaxing Winter Night Time Routines}

Things have been pretty hectic for me recently. Between preparing for holidays, shopping for Spring and Spring cleaning, my bed is always a welcome site at the end of the day. In the winter my favorite things
to wind down a busy day with are a big cup of tea, (a mix of chai tea, pu-erh tea- great detox, and vanilla almond milk) lighting scented candles and reading a magazine-prefferably fashion related.

I am so grateful for my amazing husband. Our 5th English Anniversary is on the 9th of this month (just 3 days away) and these have been the best 5 years of my life by far. I look forward to spending every day of the rest of my life with him!

{Healthy Snacks}

I may have a love for chocolate and sweets but I like to try and incorporate some healthier items into my diet as often as possible. These root vegetable chips which were sent to me by Manischewitz were so fantastic, I shared them with my son and he agreed!

{My Mishloach Manos (Purim Gift Baskets)}

We dressed up like firemen this year and these had that same fireman theme. The base was a plastic fireman hat in a celophane bag. Inside were water bottles with wrap around labels I prepared that said "Water to Extinguish Your Thirst", Fire Extinguisher Candies, Hot Potato Chips, Hot Tamales, Red Wafers and delicious cake pops made for me by "Deserts By Tova". I finished it off with a poem I wrote on a fire department label and a black and white polka dot ribbon. I thought they were cute! It was so nice spending time with my good friends and family once again and I look forward to seeing what next year will bring!

{Homemade Fruit Smoothies}

These were the perfect energizing healthy pick me up I needed after a really long day yesterday! I made them in my blender with greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, orange juice and honey. It was so delicious to say the least.
