Friday Fashion: Faux Leather Trend Spotlight

I'm a little late with this faux leather trend. I don't know what took me so long really as this is possibly the one I like most from this season. I think it is chic and practical which is probably why it's so popular! If you don't already have a couple of leather pieces in your wardrobe you definitely need to get yourself a few. And if you don't want to go all out with a full on leather dress, skirt or jacket then you can go with accessories like gloves, belts, jewelry, bags, or shoes. The great thing is that if you aren't only going for classic black, you can really have fun with it and play around with the colors.

How I wore it:
This is my favorite of the leather pieces in my wardrobe. It is a straight Burgundy leather dress by C- Lective. I purchased it at Century 21 department stores. The whole front is leather and the back is black material. I wore it recently for my sons 3rd birthday party with a black long sleeve shell from Kiki Riki. & I paired it with this Burgundy and gold cuff and these G by Guess black heels with gold and snake print details that I purchased at

How You Can Wear It:
A. Casual:
B. Special Occasion:
