Skin Care Product Review: Philosphy's Purity Made Simple

A good skin care routine involves washing your face at least twice a day. In the morning when you wake up and in the evening before you go to sleep. I am not about to preach about it too much though because it is too often that I fall asleep with makeup on or that I am in such a rush in the morning that I skip washing my face. My goal is to really get better about that. Take care of your skin and you will keep it looking young and radiant. Some of my favorite cleansers are from the drugstore. That is because they work well for my combination type skin and they are inexpensive as well. Philosophy's Purity Made Simple is in the close running though. It isn't a new product. But it is a pretty new one for me. Sephora has a really cool beauty insider point perks program. About 6 months ago I was purchasing some makeup for my professional kit to work on clients. I reached the 100 point perk and one of the options of my free sample was this purity made simple cleanser in the 3 oz size. I had really wanted to try it for a while but considering how well my cleansers worked and how much this one cost I never purchased it. You can imagine how excited I was!
Here's what philosophy says about it:
"our award-winning daily facial skin cleanser is formulated to gently cleanse, tone and melt away all face and eye makeup in one simple step, while lightly hydrating the skin."
They comes in 5 sizes from 3 oz- 32 oz and range from $10.00- $49.50
Here is what I think about it:

It is a creamy, non-foaming cleanser. It is great for taking off makeup and cleaning the skin at the same time. It easily takes off my toughest eyeliners and mascaras (but be careful with it around your eyes if it gets in there it'll sting.) They say it's unscented but to me I think it smells a little like hand soap. Nice smelling hand soap. :)  I don't use it every day. I like to switch off between that and my other cleansers, exfoliaters and masks. I found that I need at least a nickel sized amount every time I wash my face with it and that the product is going pretty quickly. It works well for my needs and skin type and therefore I most likely will re-purchase it eventually. It's not my favorite cleanser but I do like it alot.
