-1 Large Red Onion
-1 Large Regular White Onion (If you want it very sweet you can use a Vidalia Onion)
-3 Tablespoons Oil for Frying
-1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
-1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
-3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
-1 Tablespoon Sugar
Salt to taste
Circle Slice both onions and fry them up in a non stick frying pan with the 3 tablespoons oil. Saute' till nice and soft. Pour onions and oil (whatever was left in frying pan after sauteing) into a food processor or blender along with garlic powder, onion powder, mayonnaise, salt and sugar. Blend till smooth.
Pour into container and refrigerate until serving.
Can be served with bread, crackers, challah etc
